About Allison
Allison is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC. She is a Professional Health & Wellness Counselor certified through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and Columbia University Teacher’s College.
Allison is also a CHEK certified Health and Lifestyle coach. She is a nutritional advisor to HappyBaby, a company that sells fresh frozen organic baby food nationally.
Allison has always possessed a passion for healthy living. Her own personal struggle with cancer catapulted her passion even further when she realized our food really is our medicine. Diagnosed at the age of 26 with melanoma, she had surgery to remove the tumor and immediately began an intensive chemotherapy treatment. As the months passed by, she continued to feel worse and worse, and after 6 months began seeking alternatives. Her journey lead her to be proactive instead of reactive about her health and watch the relationship between what we put in our body and how we feel. She is a personal example of how paying attention to this relationship can change your entire world and bring you boundless energy, health, and vitality. She truly loves sharing this knowledge with others.
Prior to becoming a health and wellness coach, she worked at Whole Foods Market for six years, most recently as an In-Store Educator and Trainer. Allison holds a B.S. from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and a graduate business degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Testimonials from clients & workshop participants:
"Last week was extremely stressful at work, and I was running around like a crazy person. I was not eating properly and started having several headaches. I thought back to the Sugar Blues talk that Allison presented, and incorporated the information I learned that evening. It really did help. The ideas presented in the Sugar Blues talk were very helpful, and my headaches disappeared!" - J.D., Dallas
"I enjoyed the practicality of the information. Allison offered easy and useful tips on how to incorporate healthy foods into my diet." - G.G., Fort Worth
"Allison is a very knowledgable and engaging speaker. I learned more in one hour than in countless hours reading health magazines." - K.G., Fort Worth
"I just have to brag on myself-this weekend I tried on my wedding dress to see how it fit post-alteration. Well, because I am losing so much weight, we had to get it taken in even more in order to fit. Luckily, my mom can sew and she made the last few changes. I just had to tell you about my wonderful problem! Thanks for leading me onto foods that make me feel and look great!!! I honestly don't believe I would have this great of results and feel so healthy and energetic if it weren't for you. Thank you so much!!!" - Donna, Dallas
