I created this website for my health counseling program. Through my personal and career evolution (see “About Me” section), in addition to my original purpose, I now also use it to educate clients on the SelfQuesting ApproachTM.

SelfQuestingTM

The first thing I love about SelfQuesting is the word itself. No one knows what it means when they hear it. The advantage of this is that a potential client is not likely coming to me from a place where they think they already know what SelfQuesting is or what they are going to “get out of it.”

SelfQuesting is about bringing consciousness into wholeness. When I was drilling my teacher, Dr.Greg Hitter, on what that means, first I asked him what “consciousness” means? He said “awareness,” so, my “conscious” self is the part of me that is aware. Bringing that into wholeness is what SelfQuesting achieves.

For “wholeness,” and the embodied state of well-being that it implies, my belief is that real understanding can only come after enough SelfQuesting sessions have begun to lessen the hold that fragments have on your consciousness. This is because people often identify with and think from a feeling-state that comes only from a fragment. Whole blocks of time or states of being (i.e. a low-grade depression or a familiar sense of anxiety) can actually be the fragmented states of consciousness expressing themselves through your being.

I call fragments the parts of self that actually detach from your consciousness during times of trauma. With SelfQuesting, we can talk with fragments and bring the part of you in them into freely radiating wholeness with your present-day consciousness. (For me, Eckard Tolle's description of the “pain-body” helped me to better understand fragments.)

What I type here is a pale reflection, using words, of an ontological process. The benefits of SelfQuesting can be best demonstrated by doing sessions and witnessing the result in your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual state of being. Why not begin by trying this process, as the name implies, from a place of “not-knowing”? A better knowing will come later from the greater wholeness created by the process.

If you have further questions or needs, please feel free to contact me for a free consultation or to schedule a SelfQuesting session.
