Health Counseling is a unique, exciting innovation in health and nutrition. As a Health Counselor, I have studied all the major dietary theories and will help you discover what approach works best for you at this point in your life. Our brain makes mistakes a lot more than our bodies and life is a long time. So wouldn't it be nice to listen to our bodies, appreciate and respect them, and begin to craft a road map for a life of purpose and optimal wellness?
While most dieticians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I am not a dietitian but a Health Counselor. As a Health Counselor I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.
No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals. I believe it helps to think of diet as a way of living as opposed to a quick fix. So we will gradually discover what works for you and your relationship to food.
