As a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Kripalu Yoga
Instructor, and National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer, I am committed to helping my clients build a balanced relationship between body and mind to create an optimum lifestyle that is full of vitality, positive energy and peace.
With more than ten years of experience in Health and Wellness, I graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Communications and completed the Columbia University affiliated Holistic Health Counselor program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Combining my passion for personal growth and development with my love for yoga, movement and nutrition, I developed my practice based on these four cornerstones: mind/body alignment, whole food nutrition, stress management and effective action-based goals.
Through our work together, each of my clients designs and implements their very own highly individualized roadmap to optimum health. As a licensee of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, I believe in achieving health through a holistic, natural approach.
As a former professional dancer, I have observed both men and women struggle with body image issues and disordered eating, and believe that these and other concerns can be treated in a holistic way through good health information, positivity, care and compassion. Through intensive study of both eastern and western dietary and lifestyle theories, I have helped my clients increase overall health and happiness, decrease stress, anxiety, food cravings and dependencies, and most importantly, achieve inner peace through acceptance and appreciation of themselves.
