About Juli, The Whole Mom's Health Coach
I am a woman, a mom, a wife, a business owner, a writer, a singer, a holistic homeschooling mama, a homemaker, a daughter, a sister, a friend...is this list starting to sound as long as your list sounds?
We are all so many things, we fulfill so many roles in life. Especially when we are also moms. And even if we aren't...guess what? We're probably still taking care of lots of people because that's what women do, isn't it?
So who is taking care of us? And what does it mean to be a Whole Mom?
A Whole Mom is the complete picture of who we are. Mind. Body. Soul. Inclusive of but also beyond our roles and our responsibilities.
When we are moms, we are constantly challenged to find that elusive balance of caring for ourselves and for our families. Of prioritizing our health and our well-being and still meeting the needs of others.
For many women, that balance is always on the horizon but never achieved.
But balance is not static. It is constantly in motion. We are continually swaying from one side to the other and searching for our personal equilibrium.
That is what it means to be a Whole Mom- to seek that balance as a path, not a destination. To commit to the journey of self-discovery and self-care. Because we can't really show up for anyone else if we are not showing up for ourselves.
As The Whole Mom's Health Coach, I am here to help you on that path.
I received my training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. I am also continuing my studies in Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition at Clayton College of Natural Health and I hold a certificate in Health Counseling from the Teacher's College at Columbia University.
Food really can change everything. But while food is crucial to your health, it isn't just about the food. My approach is holistic, which means I take your whole life into consideration when helping you create your personal path to wellness.

I am also a busy working and homeschooling mom of two children (Alexa-5 and Nick- 3). Raising two healthy and happy kids is my most important work of all and this has led me to my passion for learning how to make simple, healthy foods that my family and I love to eat. It has also led to my understanding of how complex the issue of our well-being can be for us as moms.
I love to help other women learn how to simplify eating healthy so they can feel great about what they feed themselves and their families. It doesn't have to take a lot of extra time and money to eat healthy and enjoy it. Everyone can learn how and I can help you do it.
I also love to help women discover their own personal balance by creating a way of eating and of living that allows them to continue on their journey of self-discovery and self-care with grace, love and peace in their hearts and their bodies.

Testimonials
"My parents' many health problems caused me to realize that I had to be more conscious about health and wellness, but I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Many thanks to Juli for providing the information, guidance, support, and inspiration I needed to make the leap to healthy, intelligent, and delicious eating and a more balanced lifestyle. Juli helped me identify and organize my goals/priorities for my family's health and then provided the tools to tackle them one by one.
I was not overwhelemed by this process. During the time I spent with Juli, I lost some weight, gained energy and patience, learned to cook some great healthy meals and received a few compliments on my healthy demeanor. My whole family is benefitting from what I learned from Juli. She helped me to change our lives. I could not have done this on my own."

"Juli really listens and tunes into the needs of the individual, not just about what is going on physically but in all aspects of our lives. I've lost some weight, feel stronger overall, and I have more awareness of healthier food options.
I have more confidence in myself and my moods are on a more even keel. When they're not, I look at what I have been eating and I am able to shift it. I feel healthier overall and I make sure now that I nurture myself and I'm okay with enjoying "treats" now and then."
