"Over the last 4-5 years, I have been dealing with an array of gastro-intestinal symptoms all with varying degrees of severity. I have had a 6 week long gall bladder attack, acid reflux, problems swallowing, a hiatal hernia and chronic irregularity throughout the whole ordeal. I have gone through 4 different GI doctors, have had multiple scoping procedures, my esophagus stretched and put on prescription acid reflux medication that didn’t  seem to change my symptoms at all. After working with Jean for 6 months, I am happy to report that I have reduced my acid reflux medication from the prescribed 4 pills per day, down to just ½ a pill per day. Not only have I reduced my medications, but I FEEL so much better. I also have gotten a whole bunch of BONUS positive changes in my life and in my health that I wasn’t expecting! I got off of my seasonal allergy medications. I lost the last 10 pounds of “baby weight” that just wouldn’t budge after my second child. I feel significantly less stressed and irritable, which has the added benefit of doing some magical things to my marriage. I am cooking more at home, and so the whole family is eating healthier.

I made all those positive changes in my life without hardly thinking about it. By meeting with Jean every 2 weeks over a 6 month period, you can just make one small change at a time. I lost 10 pounds without counting a single fat gram, carbohydrate or calorie! I eat 4 times a day and eat until I am satisfied. My starving, calorie counting friends have a hard time believing it. When they ask me how I lost 10 pounds, my answer is astoundingly simple - “By eating REAL food”.

"I have suffered with Irritable Bowel Syndrome all of my life and when I first met Jean I was just barely able to go to work, was in constant pain, and this just added to an already over stressed life. I feel better about that now that Jean has me cooking more at home, I know exactly what I’m eating and how healthy it makes me feel.  I’m decaffeinated and for someone who gets up at 5 a.m. that’s a biggie. I’m venturing out into new parts of the produce section and eating different greens and “funky” beans and it all tastes so good my husband is even saying: “When are you going to make that again?  I liked that!”

We'll talk about all of these forms of nourishment, which we consider primary food, as well as what you actually eat (secondary food). Together, we'll make sure you're enjoying balance in both these areas so that you experience health from the inside out.
