Recipe of the Week:

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: roughly 30 minutes
Yields: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 small turnip
2-3 large potatoes
Butter/Olive Oil                                                                                                                       Soymilk/Milk                                                                                                                                 Optional additions - see below
Directions:
    1.    Wash, (peel if preferred) and cut turnip and potatoes into cubes
    2.    Place into a pot of boiling water
    3.    Boil until tender, drain.
    4.    Mash with butter and milk, and optional ingredients below
Variations:
    •    season with any of the following: garlic, onion, pepper, sea salt, nutmeg
    •    add fresh parsley or chives for garnish
    •    for extra flavor, roast veggies before boiling                                                                                  •   add carrot or beets
