A wellness professional serving the Greater Atlanta Region
I grew up in a small suburb about an hour north of San Francisco called St Helena, California. I have always loved the outdoors, the ocean and our animal friends.
Although I become a vegetarian at the ripe age of nine, I haven't always been concerned with proper nutrition. Challenges with weight began in puberty and continued throughout my twenties diminishing as I learned to be more self aware through yoga and meditation. Inspired by my own revelations and acknowledging my desire to lead others towards balance and spiritual awakening; I became a Registered Yoga Instructor.
I earned my certification in Reflexology in Atlanta at The Heal Center. Never have I glimpsed the human body's systems working in unison as with this modality. Detoxification and relaxation are major contributors to it's efficacy. Because all seven internal systems are manipulated as well as 27,000 nerve endings, even a visit to your primary care physician isn't this comprehensive.
My Health Counseling training was obtained at Columbia University's Teachers College and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.
It is my goal to use the aforementioned modalities and my own experiential expertise to assist my clients in achieving their goals regardless of any past obstacles. It is up to me to keep abreast of the current methods, paying close attention to your feedback without letting you lose sight of your goals, all while making lasting changes effortlessly, really!
I am happy to set up an initial consultation, just fill out the appropriate Health History form and press "send"- the first step toward commitment can be the hardest, I'll ensure the rest are fun and fulfilling.
My areas of expertise include but are not limited to: weight loss, cancer, diabetes, allergies, vegetarian nutrition, raw and vegan nutrition, eating disorders.
In addition to my Six Month and Three Month Accelerated Programs, I also offer the following services to individuals and groups:
Supermarket and Health Food Store tours, Cooking classes including Delicious Plant Based Meals and Snacks, Lectures, Diet Analysis and Pantry Makeovers
Testimonials
"You really reflect what you teach, I wish I had met you earlier in my life, my relationships and the way I move in the world would be totally different. Since I have met you my consciousness has changed completely. You have found your calling, thank you."

"Team Player: When athletes want a competitive edge, they hire a private
coach to monitor their progress. When it comes to your health, using
this mindset could also be beneficial. Health coaches are increasingly
being hired by corporations to help employees stay healthy and by
individuals seeking to improve well-being. For some, these coaches
offer assistance in managing dietary constraints (due to conditions
such as celiac disease or diabetes), and for others, they might focus on
teaching stress-reduction methods.
One-on-One: In some ways, the health coach picks up where your
physician leaves off, helping you to implement wellness strategies
suggested after a check-up or diagnosis. Christi Collins, a holistic
health counselor in Boston, recommends finding a coach who has received
training from a reputable program, such as the Institute for
Integrative Nutrition (integrativenutrition.com or who has an AADP
(American Association of Drugless Practitioners) certification. It's
also key to find someone whose personality resonates with your own."
