Karyn Bender, Pharmacist, and Holistic Health & Nutrition Counselor

As a pharmacist and health counselor Karyn brings 10 years of community health experience to her practice. Her passion for balancing the best of medical and natural health solutions provides a one-of-a-kind, practical approach to healing health challenges, preventing disease, and feeling good at any age.

Karyn is a mom, a graduate of Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Pharmacy, Boston, MA and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York, NY. She has extensively trained in health improvement counseling, eastern and western nutrition, and using food and lifestyle modification to heal the body. Karyn’s expertise of understanding medications is a unique benefit for her clients and holistic peers.

She studied directly with the masters in the health field, such as Judith Orloff MD, David Simon MD, Marc David, Andrea Beaman HHC, and at Harvard Medical School’s Mind/Body Institute.

Karyn currently works as a Holistic Health Nutrition Counselor in Northborough, MA and as a Pharmacist at a local pharmacy. To create the healthy balance in her own life, she makes time for friends and family, meditation, healthy cooking, being outdoors exercising, along with two new adventures of pottery and drumming.

Karyn currently works with clients who want to take their health to the next level and beyond. She guides them through their connection with food and lifestyle, including work, family, exercise, spiritual practice, and relationships to find what works for them. Karyn also hosts group programs, and various speaking events.

Karyn will continually motivate others to create a happier, healthier body and life, starting from where they are at right now.
